The 2016 Fadjr Theater Festival will shed light on the capabilities of stage artists who are living in other Iranian provinces, communicate with international theatre companies and groups in order to represent Iran's potentials to other countries and follow their modern experiences, invite precious foreign works and pave the grounds for the participation of Iran's veteran stage artists.
Saeed Asadi, born in 1973 in Kermanshah, is a theatre researcher, playwright and university professor.
Some of his activities include management of Tehran University's Mowlavi Theatre Center, membership in the selection committee of the 30th Fadjr Festival, management of Isfahan's
Soureh University's theatre group, editor of 'Sahne'(Stage) magazine, membership in the
research council and publications of Dramatic Arts administration, juror in several Book of the
Year and Book of the Season festivals of the Islamic Republic of Iran and well as several
international and national theater festivals. He has also penned numerous articles and plays.
Iran holds the International Fadjr Film, Theater, Music and Visual Arts festivals every year to
mark the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The 34th edition of International Fadjr Theater Festival will be held from January 21st to February 1st, 2016 in Tehran.
