However the Student Theater has not cared so much but we couldn’t just forget the ability and potentials of young, talented students. Fortunately at this year’s Fadjr Festival (30th), the relationship between Student Theater and Pro Theater improved lots because of the features that I’ll mention below:
1. Directorship of Festival:
Choosing Mr.Rahmat Amini as Festival’s Director is one of the reason of this good relationship because he has been worked as a University teacher and Jury for over a decade.
2.The Students relationship’s Committee:
Next feature is shaping the Students relationship’s Committee; which according to Mr.Amini, is premiered at Fadjr Festival and arranged for close and better relationship between this Festival and the Students.
Mehdi Mashhoor, The director of this committee said: as one of our purpose, we are going to gather some of the experienced graduated theater students to judge the quality of the plays which will perform during the festival and at the closing ceremony there will be a Special Prize for this section.
3.Performances Choosing:
It has always been a question about rather to choose between quantity or quality; well, until now we just noticed that Mr.Saeed Asadi will be the Chief of Evaluation committee, and we could take that as a sign for qualified plays to get accepted for the festival. Because Mr.Asadi working as both a University teacher and a theater researcher.
4.Special Vision Section and Director’s suggestion :
There was no section for “student’s thesis” and “Best plays of the festivals”, unlike years before and there was this worrying about not to participate student theaters at 30th Fadjr Festival but while after, The Director ordered to shape a section name Special Vision to support the young Directors and specialized this section by telling that we will have the most participants at this section which will be nearly 22 performances. And also the plays which didn’t accept for any other sections will have a chance to take part at festival as Director’s Suggestion.
